im sorry but i believe what youve heard were april fools

they were everywere on MI fan sites, and i belive thats were you found it, there were even sound files were guybrush said that mi 5 would come soon

even though im starten not to believe it, they are comming every april and some of the jokes even go out mounths after that, just to make people think its comming out, and i also doubt that the game will be just as great as the 2 first games, did you know that after the 2nd game was done ron gilberd "original creator of MI" was fired from lucas arts (he was beccomming more populer then goarge lucas) so after he was fired they made the games on there own cause they found out that fans wantet more, so they made MI3 it does not follow any story AT ALL and MI4 is compleatly messed up so i doubt that MI5 is going to be great if it is made

The secret of monkey island is "a childs fantasy" guybrush and his brother chuckie his mom and dad goes to a theme park caled big whoop.
The theme of the park is Pirates and guybrush lives himself into the part on becomming a pirate, hence the posters around the first game saying about circus, also the tressure of meelee island is a t-shirt beating the sword master will also get you a t-shirt, well guybrush want to become a pirate and while the parrents are looking at something guybrush sneaks away and ends up on the watchtower and talking to th watch man, the parrents realise that guybrush is missing and sends chuckie to find him

now guybrush is making chuckie the evil pirate cause he wants to take him back the parrents and ruin guybrushes game and fun. so thats why he becomes the evil pirate, after finding out this in monkey island 2 they walk home from the theme park and guybrush have had a wonderfull day in the park

Monkey island 3 then, how come he is suddenly back in the same theme park, meelee island were only made up islands now i suddenly are on it again, all the charecters are there like wally the cartographer, and elaine marly, but he is not in the same place the story is compleatly ruined, its still a good adventure game but it is not monkey island, its a cheap remake of a game by ron gilbert

Welp. lol Ta for that. Apologies for infuriating your hardcore monkey island demon But to be perfectly honest, MI 1 and 2 were a tad before my time. So really, I couldn't have known anything youjust told me. Pity about MI5 though, these cruel people, crushing my hopes *shakes fist* Thanks anyway.
